Britten and I met in Austin the modern way - on a dating app! Our very first date was a walk along the Zilker Hike and Bike Trail, and my dog, Ellie, immediately claimed him as her own (which I took as a very good sign!). Not long after, we realized we were both from small towns named Luling—mine in Texas, his in Louisiana—and the rest felt meant to be.

Now, two years later, we’re still laughing, exploring Austin’s restaurant scene, dancing to ABBA in the kitchen, and chasing after our two dogs: Ellie and Bruce. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
